Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and flappr (“flappr”, “we”, “us”) for use of the flappr app. By using flappr, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, if higher) to use flappr. If you’re under the age of majority, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You sign in through Firebase Authentication and choose a handle. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Choose a handle that isn’t offensive, misleading, or infringing — we may reclaim or reset handles that break these rules.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use flappr for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

4. Fair play

To keep flappr fun for everyone, you agree not to:

• Cheat, script, automate, tamper with scoring, or exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access parts of the service you’re not authorised to.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other players, or send unwanted or inappropriate content through invites or nudges.
• Disrupt, overload, or attack the service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

• flappr may offer optional paid subscriptions. Prices and features are shown in the app before purchase.
• Purchases are processed by the applicable store or payment provider (Apple App Store, Google Play, or Razorpay). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel a subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled under the policies of the store or payment provider you purchased through.
• Any virtual items, points, XP, or ratings have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Content and feedback

Content you provide (such as your handle) must be lawful and not infringe others’ rights. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve flappr without obligation to you.

7. Availability

We work to keep flappr running, but we provide it “as is” and don’t guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Daily content, features, and game rules may change over time.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, flappr is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, flappr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You can stop using flappr and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service.

11. Apple & Google app stores

If you downloaded flappr from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and flappr, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support; you also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you downloaded flappr from Google Play, you also agree to the Google Play Terms of Service. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these terms with the right to enforce them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as flappr evolves. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts there, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights.
